I had a fantastic stay at this cozy hotel in Matsumoto. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that every guest felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including air-conditioning and WiFi. I especially loved the combination of traditional Japanese style with a Western-style bed, creating a unique and comfortable sleeping experience. The hotel's attention to detail was evident throughout, from the good lighting in the rooms to the convenient elevator. The location was perfect, being very close to the train station and within walking distance of the main attractions in town. Additionally, the breakfast provided a good range of options, including some delicious custard danishes, ensuring that guests could start their day with a satisfying meal.
Everything was great, no complaints.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. It was within walking distance of key attractions and had plenty of restaurant options nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making everything from luggage storage to bike rentals a breeze. Another great aspect was the option of in-room Wi-Fi and Japanese TV channels.
The beds could have been more comfortable. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience of staying at this hotel.

Location was great, close to the train station which made it easy to get around. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from and the staff was friendly and helpful with directions. The room was a decent size and had an elevator, which made it easy to carry luggage. The breakfast offered had ample food to choose from, so you wouldn't go hungry.
The entrance to the hotel was a bit hard to find, as it was on a side street. It took us some time to locate it, which was frustrating.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the rail station, making it easy to get around. The surrounding area has a range of dining options and shops, and even though it is in a lively area near to questionably named clubs, the hotel rooms are quiet. The rooms are basic but clean, with comfortable Western-style beds, and the bathrooms are well equipped. The staff provides excellent service, helping guests plan trips and even going out of their way to assist non-Japanese speaking foreigners. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is delicious and offers a variety of Western options at very reasonable prices.
Some members of the staff have limited English-speaking skills.
